During 2019 and the beginning of 2021 Sacramento SWOP and UC Davis were engaged in interviewing Sex Workers regarding the intersection of criminalization and Sex Work. Our goal was to find out how criminalization of Sex Work and Sex Workers affect both the stakeholders and their communities. Due to Covid19 we discontinued our research in March of 2020. We are glad to announce that our interviews will begin this month. We have provided a flyer for both the phone interviews as well in person interviews. Those who interview over the phone will be paid by CASH app. Those who interview in person will be paid in cash. We are interested in your experience with the police, the criminal justice system and how criminalization has affected your life. All interviews will be voluntary and confidential.
